Many Project Managers that switch to Mac get a nasty surprise when they realize that Microsoft has never released MS Project for Mac. There are already some very good alternatives to Microsoft Project on Mac that can open, edit and even sync with MS Project such as the excellent Teamwork. Take control of your R code. RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R. It includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, as well as tools for plotting, history, debugging and workspace management. Open, view and share your plans from any storage or cloud location on any Mac device running Yosemite, El Capitan, or the new macOS Operating Systems. Download Project Viewer 365 for Mac Open any Microsoft Project file from your device, network, intranet or cloud location.
This directory contains binaries for a base distribution and packages to run on Mac OS X (release 10.6 and above). Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2 (and Mac OS X 10.1) are no longer supported but you can find the last supported release of R for these systems (which is R 1.7.1) here. Releases for old Mac OS X systems (through Mac OS X 10.5) and PowerPC Macs can be found in the old directory.
Mac Project Management
- It is 100% open source software to manage projects along the entire project-lifecycle. The web-based software can be downloaded and operated on major Linux distributions or via Docker container. Software freedom and full control of your data. Superior UX and stability in an open source project. Low entry barriers to collaborate with the project.
- A free and open source alternative to Microsoft Project, specially designed to aid the deployment and management of various projects ProjectLibre is a straightforward Mac OS X application that provides the tools and features required by project managers to develop plans, assign resources to multiple.
Note: CRAN does not have Mac OS X systems and cannot check these binaries for viruses.Although we take precautions when assembling binaries, please use the normal precautions with downloaded executables.
Package binaries for R versions older than 3.2.0 are only available from the CRAN archive so users of such versions should adjust the CRAN mirror setting (https://cran-archive.r-project.org) accordingly.

Please check the MD5 checksum of the downloaded image to ensure that it has not been tampered with or corrupted during the mirroring process. For example type
openssl sha1 R-4.0.3.pkg
in the Terminal application to print the SHA1 checksum for the R-4.0.3.pkg image. On Mac OS X 10.7 and later you can also validate the signature using
pkgutil --check-signature R-4.0.3.pkg
openssl sha1 R-4.0.3.pkg

Common Questions
Mac Open File Program
How do I know if my project is open source?
Open source software is software with source code that anyone can inspect, modify and enhance. These projects are intended to promote collaboration and sharing because they encourage computer programmers to access, view and modify open source software whenever they like, as long as they let others do the same when they share their work. Find out more here.
I manage an open source project, but our software is not free. Can I still get access to this offer?
Unfortunately, no. This offer is only available to free open source developers.
I manage a free open source project, but we charge users for software services and support. Can I still get access to this offer?
Yes! As long as the software itself is free to use, you qualify for this offer.
I am a free, open source developer working on multiple projects. Can I receive a Mac mini for each of my projects?
Unfortunately, there can only be one registered Mac mini per user/project. If a manager for one of the other projects would like to apply for this offer, they are welcome to!
Where will the Mac mini be hosted?
We offer hosting of open source Mac minis where supply is available in our Atlanta, Las Vegas or Dublin locations. If you decide to purchase a private cloud or other product it can be hosted at any of our global data centers.
The Mac minis hosted out of the Dublin data center are priced slightly higher than Mac minis hosted out of the Las Vegas data center. Does this affect the discount or will I still receive a free Mac mini?
Yes, despite price differences, FOSS developers have access to a free Mac mini out of the Dublin data center.
I have a question that is not listed here... what do I do?
No problem! Our sales team is available via live chat or email us at [email protected] to answer any questions.
